Found for Home - Painted Piano

I fell in love with the idea of someday owning a piano for my children to play shortly after I met my husband who had played the instrument for almost 15 years. It was a romantic and handsome trait that I wanted to pass on to my kids. When I saw this post on {DesignMom} it made the idea of having a piano that maybe wasn't a baby grand (where on earth would I put one of those!) even more desirable. What a statement piece in a home, the piano can be fun - if even just to look at for those of us who don't know how to tickle the ivories.

Sofa What!

Upon finding out that we are in for a move in the next two weeks, we also realized that some of our furniture may not fit. So I am looking at sofa options, and yes some of these are unrealistic due to our very limited student budget.

The last option seems like the most affordable. I found the dream couch the other day at DownEast Outfitters for $299, too bad it was already sold!
